The Skyhawks have been a dominant force ever since their inception in 1990. They have accumulated 10 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference championships and have made 7 trips to the National Division II tournament. They have had three National Championship appearances and won the National Championship in 2005. Their recent acclaims include the 2006 National Championship finalist, the 2006 RMAC Champions, two players to the 2006 NSCAA All American Teams, four players to the 2006 All-Midwest Regional Team, and the 2005 RMAC Champions.
