Paul Griffen, an Italian rugby union footballer, scrum half for Calvisano. Before moving to Italy, Griffen played for both the Linwood Rugby Club and the Canterbury Rugby Football Union in New Zealand. He debuted in Italy in the 2004 Six Nations against England. He was voted Italy’s Best Player in that cup and also made appearances with the Azzurri in the 2005 Six Nations and the summer and fall seasons. As a strong player with precision passing ability, he is a solid member of the Calvisano squad.
