The Lakers of Mercyhurst College are a strong and competitive group being led by one of the top coaches in the league. Since his first year coaching in 2002, Cammidge and the Lakers have maintained or exceeded a .500 record – advancing to the NCAA semi-finals and winning four GLIAC Championships. Though their 2007 season was rocky with the loss of a large senior class, the 2008 season looks to be a revival of their past glory, with 8 seniors returning to lead the way.
